The winner of the European Boxing Championship arrived in Sevastopol

On Saturday in Sevastopol, they met the winner of the European championship in boxing Maxim Zelenov, among young men 15-16 years old, which took place in Serbia in the city of Novi-Pazar. Maxim represented the Russian team in the weight category up to 66 kg. The athlete is trained on the basis of a sports school No. 7 under the leadership of the coaches of Denis and Oleg Tyurin. He held three fights, in the semifinals he won the fight against an athlete from the Republic of Belarus, and in the final defeated a boxer from Moldova.

The final battle turned out to be the most difficult, because the rival was already the champion of Europe, in addition to the left -handed person, it was inconvenient to work with him, but we were ready for this. Three heavy fees passed — outgoing practice in Belarus and three -week fees in Kislovodsk. According to the results of the tournament, the Russian national team took the first team spaces, having won 20 gold, three silver and three bronze awards.
