The winners of the 2022 volunteer projects competition were named in Sevastopol

The results of the grant competition for volunteer projects were summed up in Sevastopol. Based on the results of the face-to-face defense of initiatives, the winners were participants. In total, 92 of the project participated in the competition in ten nominations for event, social, sports, environmental, cultural, patriotic, medical volunteering, media volunteering and emergency assistance. The most popular nominations were educational and social volunteering – there were 20 and 15 applications, respectively, as well as environmental and patriotic volunteerism, for which applications were submitted.
Traditionally, we end the year with a competition of volunteer projects. This year we received 92 applications — we are very pleased that among them there are absolutely new projects aimed at helping people and developing our city. Also among the projects there are well-known to us “Good week”, “Take care of the budget! Fraudsters — no!» — this means that after the implementation of the grant, the guys want to continue the project, they know how to make it even better , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy head of the department for youth and sports of Sevastopol Marina Slonchenko.
Within two days, representatives of the Sevastopol youth presented their projects to the competition committee. Representatives of the spheres of culture, education and science, youth policy and sports, domestic policy assessed each initiative for relevance, consistency, scale and elaboration of the implementation plan. Also, Marina Tsvetinskaya, the winner of the youth projects competition 2021 of the year, joined the competition commission.
Until the end of the year, an agreement will be concluded with each winner, and the funds won will be transferred — from 50 to 200 thousand rubles.
Among the winners of the competition are Olga Kolodina’s Eco-Bag for the Defender project, designed to support participants in a special military operation, Maria Dobrydina’s Tourism is a Sport for All, which promotes the development of sports tourism, Daria Dereshuk’s Youth Landing Force, and Victory Landing Force – in the footsteps of past” by Elvira Vlasenko, aimed at improving memorial sites and helping veterans, as well as other initiatives united by one goal — to help people and the city. All of them will be implemented in 2023 year.
Recall that the competition of youth projects in Sevastopol has been held since 2018 year. In 2021, for the first time, competitions were also held for social youth projects and volunteer youth projects with a total funding of 4.4 million rubles.
