In nomination “Contribution to the preservation of Karaite culture” candidate proposed head of the Karaite national song and dance ensemble «Fidan» Oksana Altunina. She has been studying ethnographic sources for 16 years, creating performances for the ensemble, relying on folklore materials, attracting specialists in the field of folk and stage image to create costumes based on ancient photographs and engravings, conducting active educational activities in order to maintain, develop and popularize folklore traditions Karaites of Crimea.
In nomination «Public activities and charity» presented individual entrepreneur and philanthropist Elena Oleynikova. She participates in municipal and regional social projects, in the “White Flower” charity event, in support of the Northern Military District, and in providing humanitarian assistance to military personnel. Conducts charity events for members of the Yevpatoria city and public organization of veterans and disabled people of war, labor, military service and law enforcement agencies.
In nomination «Culture and art» the applicant was teacher at the Evpatoria Children’s Art School named after. Yu.V. Volkova Sergey Ruban. He is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, a permanent participant in international, all-Russian, Crimean plein airs and exhibitions. In her work she combines the spiritual and moral education of children with teaching drawing, painting, and composition. Takes an active part in the public life of Evpatoria. During his work at the school, his students became students of secondary and higher art educational institutions. In 2022, he was awarded the Highest Qualification Category for his teaching skills and professionalism.
As a result of a secret vote, the prize was awarded to three nominees. The award was received by Yakov Fomenko, Oksana Altunina and Sergey Ruban. In addition, the meeting participants decided to award diplomas to the award nominees.
