CrimeaPRESS reports:

In Sevastopol, new winners of a grant competition for the creation and development of beaches on the banks of rivers, lakes, reservoirs or other water bodies were identified. The commission traditionally included representatives of municipalities, businesses and city authorities. The members of the commission assessed the applications of entrepreneurs for compliance with the requirements for the procedure for granting a grant and asked clarifying questions to the contestants.

In accordance with applications that were accepted between 11 to 20 October, we have identified three grant recipients. I would like to add that agreements have already been concluded with the first winners of this area of grant support. Business representatives have already begun implementing projects, and already in the next tourist season, guests and residents of Sevastopol will be able to fully appreciate the new infrastructure on the city’s beaches , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the Sevastopol Tourism Department Larisa Ostapenko.

The winners are:

According to Larisa Ostapenko, the winners of the competition will develop the social and recreational infrastructure of the Pesochnaya Bay therapeutic beach, create a health-improving complex for children on the Soldatsky beach and a recreation area with an outdoor cinema on the Uchkuevka beach.

I am glad that there are many initiatives in the city from representatives of regional businesses, aimed, among other things, at the development of beach areas. As part of competitive meetings for grant support, we carefully study the applications of Sevastopol entrepreneurs. If applications for grant support need to be finalized, we provide clarifications and recommend that you take part in a new stage of the grant competition , — says Irina Korda, representative of the competition committee.

All projects that are planned to be implemented thanks to grant support will be monitored for five years from the date of conclusion of the agreements.

The head of the department also drew the attention of business representatives that on November 6, applications for a new competition for grants for the creation and development of beaches will begin.

I recommend that entrepreneurs and legal entities of Sevastopol take part in the grant competition and, if the application complies with the competition procedure, receive co-financing for their projects. Applications will be accepted from November 6 to inclusive, — emphasizes Larisa Ostapenko.

A grant can be received for the development of beaches on the shores of the seas, rivers, lakes, reservoirs or other water bodies of Sevastopol. It will also be possible to purchase equipment, inventory, equipment, leisure goods designed to provide tourism activities and increase accessibility for people with disabilities.

At the same time, the grant applicant in the form of a beach operator undertakes to implement a new project that is not included in the beach improvement agreement, that is, in excess of the obligations of the agreement.
