Restrictive measures (quarantine) were introduced in the Balaklava municipal district due to the detection of the case of the disease of the wild fox.

The state department received an appeal from a vacationer woman. She discovered near the tract the “fig” of the sick fox, who, from her words, was injured when falling from the cliff. However, taking into account the clinical picture in an animal that does not exclude the disease with rabies, in accordance with the requirements of veterinary rules, the foxes were placed on isolated content under the supervision of the autocated. Subsequently, laboratory studies confirmed the diagnosis of rabies in the animal. The woman who contacted with the fox is informed about the immediate appeal to the medical institution for anti -rabid prevention.
