In the republic, on April 22, applications begin to participate in the 1st round of the annual competition of projects “Budget for citizens” -2025, the organizer of which is the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Crimea.
As the deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea, Irina Kiviko, the republican competition of projects “Budget for citizens”, as well as at the federal level, is held in order to identify and disseminate the best practice of forming a budget in a format that ensures openness and accessibility for citizens information about public finance management.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that the competition, as before, is held in two stages. From April 22 to May 19, the first tour will be held (accepting applications in a unified form), within the framework of which preliminary selection of participants who sent competitive projects on the representation of the budget for citizens in electronic form (with the application of presentations, articles of booklets, links to Internet resources, etc.). The second round conducted among persons who have passed the preliminary selection consists of a repeated submission of an application and a finally modified project to participate in the competition from June 10 to June 23 and is aimed at determining the winners of the competition by evaluating and comparing the competitive projects separately for each nomination.
Participants in the competition may be individuals and legal entities, executive authorities of the republic, as well as local governments. Participation in the competition can be both individual and as part of copyright groups. Since 2023, the division of the contestants among individuals into categories: under 15 years old and over 15 years old has appeared— said Irina Kiviko.
This year, nominations are provided among individuals:
- The competition is held under 15 years old in 5 nominations: “Budget for citizens in modern forms of art”, “Best Video on the Budget”, “Information Cards on the Budget for Social Networks and Messengers”, “Best Budget Game for Citizens”, “The Budget and Technology of the Future”;
- Over 15 years, the competition is held according to 6 nominations: “Budget for citizens in modern forms of art”, “Best Video of the Budget”, “Information Cards on the Budget for Social Networks and Messengers”, “The Best Supply for Changing Budget Legislation”, “Best Budget Game for Citizens”, “The Budget and Technology of the Future”.
Among legal entities, 6 nominations were also proposed: “Modern forms of submission of the regional budget for citizens”, “Modern forms of submission of a draft local budget for citizens”, “The best training event on budget topics”, “Best information panel (Dashboard) on citizens”, “Budget for citizens from the media”, “Budget and technology of the future”.
“We are looking forward to creative candidates to participate in the competition, according to the results of which the winners will be awarded diplomas and gifts,” Irina Kiviko drew the attention of future contestants.
Information about the winners of the competition will be posted on Official website The main financial department of the republic: no later than July 11, indicating the date, time and place of the awarding ceremony of winners and participants in the republican competition.
She added that the competitive commission decides to send the best projects of the winners of the republican competition that have practical significance to the financial university under the Government of the Russian Federation ”(Moscow) to participate in the second round of the federal open public competition of budgets for citizens-2025.
“In the event of victory at the All-Russian level, the best projects will be awarded with diplomas at a special solemn event in Moscow,” Irina Kiviko emphasized, recalling that according to the results of the federal competition-2024, Crimea became a three-time winner, ”Irina Kiviko emphasized.
She clarified that the republic received 3 prizes: gold-at Natalya Shevchenko (among individuals over 15 years old) for the young financiers lappbook, two silvers: at Anna Gorelova (among individuals under 15 years old) for the picking book-study the budget (among the legal entities) and the Builder for citizens.
