The XXXIII International Film Festival «Scarlet Sails» named after V. S. Lanovoy started in the MDC «Artek»

The bright, festival opening ceremony was held on the huge platform “Artek Arena”, which accommodates all participants and guests. As in the past years, famous artists and articians jointly prepared the performance.

On this day, folk and honored artists, favorites of millions of spectators shone on the scene of the Artek Arena: Natalya Gvozdikova, Olga Prokofieva, Yuri Nazarov, Natalya Bondarchuk, Sergey Batalov, Alexander Astashonok, Vladislav Dunaev, Nonna Grishaeva and other public favorites.

The special guest of the film festival is the vice speaker of the State Duma A. Yu. Kuznetsov. From the screen of Artek-Arena, all participants were welcomed by the head of the Republic of Crimea S.V. Aksenov and State Duma deputy D. A. Pevtsov.

The director of the event Elena Talanova turned to artificial intelligence, with the help of which all historical photographs of the children’s camp came to life, the articians of those years on the screen continued their sports, games in the Lancer, ordinary camp everyday life. Children plunged into the history of Artek using the language of modern technologies that they understand and this united adolescents with the older generation of stars.

The first Artek is only 4 tents at the foot of Ayu-Dag and 80 pupils. They had a dining room, sleeves, several kerosene, ship lanterns, a library and a physical education site, where an artician bonfire lit up in the evenings!

Photo chronicle gave the guests to the memories of the old days, and the artists who went on stage sang significant songs of different years from “Get up, a huge country” to “We need one victory”. The photographs that fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War flashed on the screen: a test pilot, twice Hero of the Soviet Union Amet-Khan Sultan, Heroes of the Soviet Union Ivan Turkeenich, Ruben Ruis Ibarruri, Timur Frunze, partisans-reconnaissance of Vitya Korobov, Volodya Dubinin, Radik Rudnev; The front-line correspondent of the newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda Lilya Kara-Stanova.

Truly, the whole opening ceremony was a holiday of the unity of all generations!

The main program of the festival is the immersion in the process of cinematography, the creation of short shifts of shifts, the study of film aircraft, communication with the master, who teach, show, share the secrets of their professions.

Over the years of the film festival, more than 2 thousand master classes have been held, only this year more than 60 master classes and creative meetings were expected, during the film festival the Arteks will watch 32 competitive films, including 8 playful full-length films; 5 game shorts; 3 animation full -length and 15 animated short films, but with the help of mentors, the articists will shoot their author’s short films for the contest “Producer Cinema”.

Producer cinema

In 2015, at the 23rd festival a new idea arose — Artek cinema. On the eve of the opening at the Artek MDC, a draw was held to determine mentors in the contest “Producer Cinema”. This year, the shift pupils themselves will become screenwriters, directors, operators, decorators, sound engineers and actors of their film, and professional mentors will help them. The topic of filming is “Artek. 100 years of childhood happiness. «

As a result of the draw, Yegor Salnikov will lead the film squad of the Cyparis camp; Pavel Pukeshchikov and Victoria Lukina got the River camp; Alexander Astashonok became the producer of the sea camp. Janis Politov, along with Alei Mayer, led the film squad of the Yantarny camp; Maxim Glotov began to work fruitfully with the Lesnoy camp; Polina Nechchitailo will convey invaluable experience to children from the Lake Lager, Nikolai Kovbas — the Field Camp, Ruslan Jaybekov — “Crystal”. Honored Artist Natalya Bondarchuk, together with Igor Dniester, headed the film squad of the Lazurny camp.

In a few days, the contestants will create 9 4-minute shortcomers, the final version of which will be shown in all Artec camps, where the large children’s jury will determine the winner by open voting. A small jury consisting of professionals will also evaluate each film.
