Volunteers of the Yalta branch of the “People’s Network” project have woven and delivered 2,175 nets to the front in a year and a half.
The colors that are in demand now are those that are relevant in the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions — «faded steppe» and «moss», a little later there will be an emphasis on «dark autumn». The nets are standard, 3×6, but they are perfectly fastened together, so they are even used to camouflage helicopters and ships.notes Anna Smolnikova, coordinator of the People’s Networks project in Yalta.
The head of the Yalta administration, Yanina Pavlenko, emphasizes that anyone can help. The learning process is not complicated, it takes very little time. The demand for networks is very high — there are requests for 200 units, and the masters make 10 per day.
