The youth club of the Russian Geographical Society «Crimea» is the first in the ranking among the youth clubs of the Russian Geographical Society

The results of the activities of the youth clubs of the Russian Geographical Society for 2022 have been summed up. According to the results of the rating for 2022, out of 194 clubs, the Youth Club of the RGS «Crimea» took first place in the Top 10 Youth Clubs of the RGS and in the Top 5 Youth Clubs of the RGS based on the regional branches of the Society.

• Since 2016, the Youth Club of the RGS «Crimea» on the basis of the Crimean branch of the RGS has been actively involved in all initiatives of the Russian Geographical Society and generates its own ideas, which are later implemented in other regions.
• In 2022, the Youth Club of the Russian Geographical Society «Crimea» on the basis of the Crimean branch of the Russian Geographical Society conducted major federal projects such as «Reserved Affairs of the Russian Geographical Society», «Reserved School of the Russian Geographical Society», «Marine Biological School of the Russian Geographical Society», «Youth Caving School Taurida Cave», «Volunteer ecological expedition to the Federal State Budgetary Institution «Reserved Crimea» participants, which were guys from all over Russia and neighboring countries.

In addition, the Youth Club of the RGS «Crimea» on the basis of the Crimean branch of the RGS held more than 150 events of various levels and directions for young people in the Republic of Crimea: hikes, environmental campaigns, tournaments for the speedy collection of spils cards, film lectures, lectures and many other events.

One of the main results of 2022 was the awarding of the Youth Club of the RGS «Crimea» on the basis of the Crimean branch of the RGS with the Bronze medal of the Russian Geographical Society. The Small Bronze Medal of the Russian Geographical Society is awarded for active participation in expeditions, work and benefit to the Society, as well as for the successful execution of the Society’s orders.
