The youth of Sevastopol sewed eco-bags for the participants of the special operation

CrimeaPRESS reports:

On March 29 and May 2, the Volunteering Support Resource Center hosted workshops on sewing eco-bags using recycled materials. They were held as part of the All-Russian action «TrudKrut» and were timed to coincide with the Holiday of Spring and Labor. Master classes are also held with the aim of involving young people in volunteering as part of achieving the goals of the regional project «Social Activity» of the national project «Education».

We try our best to help our soldiers on the front lines. Bags for storing different materials, products, personal items are very useful in a war zone. Right now, the technology of using recycled materials to create various materials is especially relevant. It’s nice to see that more guys came to the second master class, and not only girls wanted to try their hand at sewing— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy head of the department for youth and sports, Marina Slonchenko.

Sevastopol volunteers made about 100 waterproof eco-bags for documents and gadgets. In them, young people put messages with words of support for the participants in the special military operation. The eco-bags will be delivered to them by the volunteers of the “We are together – Sevastopol” headquarters along with the rest of the humanitarian cargo.

Usually I learn about all the activities of Sevastopol volunteers from their social networks and every time I try to take part. This is my first eco-friendly master class, I want to develop in different areas, so I decided to try it. I used to not like to sew, but after today’s class I liked it and I will definitely come again— notes the participant of the master class Rita Peretrukhina.
