The Kerch City Court of the Republic of Crimea brought to justice a 31-year-old resident of the city of Kerch for committing a crime under paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft, that is, the secret theft of another’s property, committed with causing significant damage to a citizen).

As established by the court, on March 18, 2023, in the daytime, the defendant, being legally, with the permission of his mother in the household, secretly stole 7 car tires from the hallway, namely: 2 Michlen car tires, size 195×65 , R15 (summer), worth 1000 rubles each; 2 car tires of the Nord Master brand, size 195×65, R15 (winter), worth 1000 rubles each; 2 car tires, brand «Yokohama», 195×65, R15 (summer), worth 2000 rubles each; 1 car tire, Pirelly brand, 195×65, R15 (winter), worth 2,000 rubles, totaling 10,000 rubles, belonging to the uncle of the defendant. Having taken possession of the stolen property, the defendant fled the scene of the crime, and later disposed of the stolen property at his own discretion.— reported the press service of the court.

The court appointed the defendant a suspended sentence of 1 year in prison, setting a probationary period of one year. The verdict of the court has not entered into force.
