Theft, pursuit, shooting, everything is like in the movies… A 17-year-old Crimean got into trouble (it’s good that he survived)

CrimeaPRESS reports:

A resident of the Kirovsky district called the Kerch police with a report of a missing Volkswagen car. The woman explained that her minor son, who does not have a driver’s license, could have taken her car for a ride without permission. The focus on the foreign car was immediately transferred to all crews of the police road patrol service.

During patrolling, one of the traffic police squads noticed a wanted car on one of the city streets and signaled to its driver to stop. The young man behind the wheel ignored the legal demands of the traffic inspectors and, increasing his speed, tried to escape.

During the chase, the reckless driver repeatedly ignored the police’s demands to pull to the side of the road and four times, in violation of traffic rules, drove into the lane intended for oncoming traffic, thereby endangering others. Even a warning shot in the air from his service weapon did not stop him from committing illegal acts. Soon, in the area of General Kulakov Street, the offender lost control and drove to the side of the road, after which he tried to run away together with a young passenger, but was detained by police officers— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.

As expected, the driver turned out to be the 17-year-old son of the car owner. It turned out that the teenager had repeatedly come to the attention of law enforcement agencies, was prosecuted for causing bodily harm, and was registered with the juvenile affairs unit. He admitted that he took the car keys without his mother’s permission to go for a ride with his girlfriend.

The young Crimean received as many as 6 administrative protocols, including under Part 4 of Art. 12.15, part 2 art. 12.37 and part 1 art. 12.7 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. Mother? Perhaps she is no longer glad that she contacted the police. The issue of bringing her to justice under Article 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation is being resolved.
