Theodosians are participants in the patriotic action “Memory in the dance. Random waltz «
Krympress reports:
On the day of the military glory of Russia-the 82nd anniversary of the Victory in the Battle of Stalingrad-on the forecaster of Theodosia by the forces of the All-Russian Popular Front, the patriotic action “Memory in the Dance was organized and held. Random waltz. «
The song “Random Waltz” was written just a few days after the victorious completion of the Battle of Stalingrad, which became a turning point during the Great Patriotic War. According to one version, it was based on a story told by pilot Vasily Vasiliev about a fleeting meeting with a girl in a small village of the front line and the only dance to which he invited her. The young officer could not forget this girl. The pilot asked composer Mark Fradkin to write a song about this fleeting meeting and a random waltz, hoping that the girl recognizes the story and responds. Indeed, when after some time the song sounded on the radio, a letter came from Zina, in which she asked the address of that same pilot. Unfortunately, Vasily Vasiliev could no longer answer Zina, in one of the air battles he died the death of the hero. And this front -line song fell in love with many, in its melodies not only the sadness of parting, but also the hope of a peaceful life,-noted in the press service of the administration of Feodosia.
The melody of the “random waltz” sounded on February 2 on the station square as a symbol of the stamina of Stalingrad, its defenders and liberators, as the Stalingrad motif. The young couples circled the waltz, and then the Theodosians, who were at that moment in the square, joined the dance.
