There is a Father Frost Workshop at Artek
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Almost 2,000 Artek residents from all the center’s children’s camps took part in the City of Masters “Father Frost’s Workshop.” More than 50 technical, creative and sports venues were presented. Teachers from the Center for Continuing Education and thematic partners of the children’s center launched their activities at Artek. In the rich and varied program of classes, everyone found something to their liking: culture and social engineering, public speaking, science and sports.
The festival took place on Palace Square, where on the same day the main Christmas tree of Artek was the first in Crimea to be lit with multi-colored lights. More than 50 stations are located in the Sports Palace and near the New Year’s beauty.
Most of the sites prepared by the Children’s Creativity Center were dedicated to the upcoming holiday — the New Year. The teachers taught the children watercolor painting, beadwork, phytodesign, theatrical makeup and the creation of Artek souvenirs. The shift participants got acquainted with amazing Crimean minerals, visited an e-sports station, tried their hand at DJing, and touched the secrets of astronomy.
I’ve already visited four venues, looked at how to operate a DJ console, tried semaphoring and played floorball. And most of all I liked the “New Year’s Songs” station, where we played the guitar. It seems to me that events such as the City of Masters help us find ourselves in interesting activities and get to know,” Konstantin Popov from Surgut shared his impressions.
At the entrance to the Port Palace, everyone could do their favorite thing — there were floorball, car racing, rock fishing, semaphore and rigging grounds. In addition, Artek residents tried their hand at DJing, created digital portraits, wrote kind letters at the Russian Post station, and took part in the forum’s New Year’s Quiz.
The children’s special attention was attracted by educational and creative activities prepared by the partners of the children’s center.
At the “Inspirers” site, Artek residents were able to get acquainted with neurographics and think about their plans for 2024.
As part of our “Create a Dream” platform, children project their dream for 2024 through neurography. With the help of neurography classes, we help children explore their thoughts and desires. We are confident that everyone will understand what areas they want to implement in 2024— said the curator of the “In Search of Dreams” program Ekaterina Pakhomova.
The station of the Tyumen Industrial University has become a place where there are no bad grades, boring lessons, and absolutely everyone who took part in the “New Year Test” quiz received a test and a gift.
We registered on the platform and took a New Year’s quiz, which I really liked, as there were questions from films and cartoons. All this created a great New Year’s atmosphere. We were given a 3D printed Christmas tree toy as a gift.— said Ekaterina Stukolova, Sevastopol.
The Culture Committee of the Odintsovo City Administration held the winter Christmas ritual “The carol has come.” The children saw and themselves became participants in the ancient ritual of caroling with the performance of traditional songs, carols, and folk dances. Creative groups used elements of a traditional party, with folk youth games and fun.
Pupils of the children’s center could not pass by the Kira Bulychev Film Studio site, which, together with the Connect Film film company, is presenting the “You Are the Frame” program at Artek. Participants and mentors of the program presented children’s film achievements for 2023. They showed trailers for films made by children at Artek and talked about modern cinema. We also wrote down actor’s business cards with the children, which will be included in the actor’s database “You Are the Shot.” And most importantly, we recorded video congratulations and New Year’s addresses from Artek residents to children all over the world! Appeals will be translated into English with subtitles.
The “City of Masters” became a place where everyone could learn a lot of new things, try themselves in interesting activities and communicate with each other.
At the City of Masters, I learned how to use engraving, watched performances by guys in traditional costumes, and visited a photovision station. I am sure that all the skills I have acquired can be useful to me in the future. Thanks to Artek for such interesting events– noted Daria Zaitseva, Zverevo.
A festive atmosphere reigned at the venues. At the Christmas tree sparkling with multi-colored lights, children treated themselves to hot tea and sweets, congratulated each other, counselors, and teachers on the upcoming New Year, which is only two weeks away.
