There is a new city prosecutor in Sevastopol. Presidential Decree

CrimeaPRESS reports:

A new prosecutor of Sevastopol has been appointed. This is Andrey Shevtsov. The corresponding decree was signed by the President of the Russian Federation. Document posted on the portal for the official publication of legal acts.

Maxim Zhuk, who previously held the position of prosecutor of Sevastopol, was appointed head of the supervisory agency in the Tver region by the same decree.

Appoint for a five-year term: Maxim Sergeevich Zhuk as prosecutor of the Tver region, releasing him from his position; Shevtsov Andrey Yurievich — prosecutor of Sevastopol, releasing him from his positionsays the text of the decree.

The document came into force from the date of its signing.

Maxim Zhuk has held the position of prosecutor of Sevastopol since 2022. He was awarded the medal of the Order “For Services to the Fatherland”, II degree, and has the badge “Honorary Worker of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation”, the medal “290 years of the Prosecutor’s Office of Russia” and the medal “300 years of the Prosecutor’s Office of Russia”.

There is a new city prosecutor in Sevastopol. Presidential DecreeAndrey Shevtsov has served in the prosecutor’s office since 1997. He started as an assistant prosecutor in one of the districts of Samara. His career growth is connected with the same region. In 2011, Andrei Shevtsov was appointed prosecutor of Samara; in July 2017, he became deputy prosecutor of the Samara region. At the end of 2020, Shevtsov was appointed first deputy prosecutor of the Amur region. The last position (since February 2022) is the head of the Amur Basin Environmental Prosecutor’s Office.
