On May 31, in 60 cities of Russia, a Green Marathon will host a large family and sports festival, where, in addition to races, everyone can become a member of sports and entertainment, social, environmental and charitable actions. This is the 12th Green Marathon Sberphone, and the event will take place in Crimea for the third time. According to the prevailing tradition, the sports festival will be held near Yalta in the village of Polnoevo, in the territory of the resort «Mriya».
Andrey Otvvirov, who controls the head department of Sberbank in Crimea:
For the third year in a row, Crimea has become part of the «green marathon.» And every year more and more athletes flee with us. In 2024, more than 1 thousand athletes took part in the races. This time we also expect high activity: both among adult athletes and among the younger generation. This event is not just personal and team competitions, but an excellent opportunity to spend a Saturday day with friends and family, while doing one common good deed.
In 2025, distances of 4.2, 10, 21.1 km, as well as northern walking by 2.1 km, were available for adult participants. Teenagers from 14 to 17 years old can run a distance of 4.2 km, and children from 4 to 13 years old will be invited to compete in 500 m races, divided into several age groups.
During registration, as well as at the Green Marathon itself, anyone can make voluntary donations on the charity platform “Sberblack Claus”. These funds will go to the Foundation Foundation, and Sber will double this amount. Last year, 27 million rubles were collected to support the inclusive education of children with developmental features and the experience of orphans. With their help, the guys are preparing for school, helping in study and communicating with peers.
