There is a shortage of personnel in the tourism industry of Crimea

The shortage of personnel in the tourism industry of the Republic of Crimea amounted to about 200 thousand people. This was stated by the Chairman of the Crimean Hotel Association Sergei Makovey during a speech at the tourism festival “On the Road to the South” in Volgograd.
Today we have a personnel shortage of about 200 thousand employees. We’re when it’s peak [туристического сезона]- “we are sewing up”, we need people — students, young people— quotes a specialist TASS.
Makovey noted that there are 1.17 thousand collective accommodation facilities for vacationers in Crimea; on average, the region receives 5-6 million tourists a year. He added that the tourism industry of the republic is waiting for young personnel, including students, who can find temporary work on the peninsula or stay there permanently.
