CrimeaPRESS reports:

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued a storm warning about dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena in Crimea for June 12-15. There is an extreme fire danger throughout the entire peninsula.

During this period, it is strictly prohibited to make fires and carry out fire-hazardous work using open fire in forests, natural ecosystems and adjacent areas, including the deliberate burning of dry vegetation and household waste. The use of open fire and the lighting of fires on agricultural lands and lands of populated areas is permitted only if fire safety requirements are strictly observed.

In addition, home owners and gardeners need to promptly clear their site and the surrounding area of dry grass and flammable debris. At the same time, in the territories of populated areas and summer cottages it is prohibited to arrange flammable waste dumps, to store containers with flammable and combustible liquids, as well as cylinders with compressed and liquefied gas in open areas and in courtyards. Each residential building must have a container of water or a fire extinguisher, and streets leading to garden plots must always be passable— reported the emergency department.

Persons guilty of violating fire safety rules, depending on the nature of the violation and their consequences, bear disciplinary, administrative or criminal liability.

Let us remind youa strict ban on visiting forests has been introduced in Crimea.
