The following holidays are established in the Republic of Crimea: January 23 — the day of a large family in the Republic of Crimea— the document says.

As noted in the explanatory note to the bill, the establishment of this holiday in the Crimea is timed to the date of publication of the Decree of the President of Russia of January 23, 2024 «On measures of social support of large families».

The institution in the Republic of Crimea of ​​the commemorative date on January 23 is the recognition of the merits of large families in accordance with federal law, the authors of the bill noted.

According to them, the establishment of a large family of a large family in Crimea is designed to symbolically connect the regional policy of support for families with federal norms, to increase citizens’ awareness of social assistance measures to large families, to contribute to the popularization of large children through public events and information campaigns.
