The authorities of Yevpatoria have temporarily shut off hot water in residents’ homes until further notice. This decision was made to normalize the pressure during repair work on the central water main, said the head of the city administration, Aleksandr Yuryev.

Due to the work on replacing a section of the central water pipeline, the storage tanks are not filling up as quickly as is necessary for Yevpatoriya, taking into account the tourists who are here. If we turn on the hot water, the consumption increases, the pressure drops and in the next 24 hours the city is left even without cold water. In order to improve the situation, we continue to reduce the pressure at night. It has also been decided to temporarily turn off the hot water supply until further noticehe wrote in Telegram channelspecifying that the water supply was not restricted in the maternity hospital and the nursing home for the elderly and disabled.
