They are trying to reduce prices in Crimea through meetings and monitoring

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The problem of prices in Crimea is quite clear to the authorities DESIGNATED the day before… And it began. Today, Prime Minister of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk held a working meeting specifically on pricing issues in retail chains. The hot topic was discussed not only by officials, but also by representatives of retail chains and even a distributor “with its own fleet of Eurotrucks.”

Yesterday, after visiting a number of retail chains in Simferopol, a decision was made to comply with prices for socially important food products. In all municipalities it is necessary to carry out explanatory work with business entities engaged in trading activities. In some stores where prices have been increased, the situation will be checked. Similar on-site monitoring will continue to control food prices,” noted Yuri Gotsanyuk.

The Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Crimea has already noted a decrease in prices for “certain types of socially significant food products.”

During the monitoring, pricing issues were discussed with the management of large retail chains. An agreement was reached that in large chains the price of chicken meat (carcass) will not be more than 200 rubles per kilogram, and for chicken fillet — no more than 440 rubles,” noted Deputy Minister of Industrial Policy of the Republic of Crimea Irina Mezavtsova.
