They “caught” on the road: the police stopped Kerchka for violating traffic rules, but it turned out — in the hands of “salt”

Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kerch detained a 25-year-old previously convicted local resident suspected of acquiring and storing narcotic substances.

During patrolling on one of the city streets, police officers drew attention to the girl who crossed the road in the wrong place. The police stopped her to conduct an explanatory conversation about the need to comply with the traffic rules and at that moment they saw how she threw a bundle aside. During the conversation, the police noticed that she was intoxicated. When asked what is in the polymer package, which she threw the girl admitted that inside the drug “Salt”, which she acquired on the Internet through “bookmarks” for personal use,-the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Crimea said.

Police officers seized the polymer package and sent for examination, which confirmed that the studied substance is-N-methyl-adhesive, a total mass of 1.14 grams.

Currently, the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Kerch of the detainee was charged with committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition, storage of narcotic substances on a large scale). The sanction of the article provides for the maximum punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to ten years with a fine of up to five hundred thousand rubles.

The accused was chosen by a preventive measure in the form of a non -departure subscription.
