They intend to build a new road in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Main State Expertise of Russia issued a positive conclusion on the first stage of construction and reconstruction of the Lgovskoye — Grushevka — Sudak highway. It runs from the federal highway A-291 “Tavrida” to the existing regional road 35 K-003 “Belogorsk-Feodosia”. The road, just over 9 kilometers long, will be built according to the state program of the Russian Federation “Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol”, approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated January 30, 2019 No. 63. The opening of traffic will provide access to the city of Sudak from the federal highway “Tavrida” Kerch – Simferopol – Sevastopol. The section of the two-lane highway is located bypassing populated areas. Estimated speed – 100 km/h.
During the examination, the longitudinal profile of the road was optimized (the height of the embankment and longitudinal slopes were reduced), and based on the calculation results, the design of the road pavement was changed. The dimensions and parameters of the “Pipe” type traffic intersection and roundabout intersection (design speeds, plan radii, lengths of exits, lane width, number of lanes, diameter of the central island) are brought into compliance with current regulatory documents,” commented the chief expert of the project, Vitaly Gurin.
Acoustic screens will be installed on the section near the village of Grushevka, and lighting will be provided at the traffic intersection and roundabout.
The designed highway is of great strategic importance and is one of the objects that determine the development of the entire tourist region. This will be the most convenient and shortest route from Sudak to the Tavrida highway.
The developer is the State Treasury Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Road Service of the Republic of Crimea”.
The general designer is Regional Construction Company LLC.
