In Armyansk, two local residents were sentenced to imprisonment for stealing a moped from a garage. They were found guilty under paragraphs. “a”, “b”, “c” part 2 art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft).
The court found that the men, by prior conspiracy, arrived at the victim’s garage, entered it and secretly stole a moped, causing him damage in the amount of more than 14 thousand rubles. At the court hearing, the defendants admitted their guilt— reported the prosecutor’s office.
The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the men to 8 months in prison each. They will serve their sentences in a maximum security penal colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
