In order to identify and suppress violations of migration legislation in the city of Saki and the Saki region, from January 29 to February 2, the police carried out operational and preventive measures under the code name “Foreign worker”.
Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Saksky” from the migration department, local police officers, criminal investigation officers, patrol officers and soldiers of a specialized unit of the Russian Guard took part in the checks and raids. As part of the activities, inspections of construction sites in the Saki region where foreign citizens work were carried out. A preventive raid was also carried out at the central market in Saki— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
Police officers documented 51 offenses in the field of migration. The offenders include citizens of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Russia.
In relation to 46 citizens, the police drew up 51 protocols on administrative offenses: 27 protocols under Art. 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Violation by a foreign citizen or stateless person of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation or the regime of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation”; 5 protocols under Art. 18.9 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Violation of the rules of stay in the Russian Federation of foreign citizens and stateless persons”; 8 protocols under Art. 18.10 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Illegal employment by a foreign citizen or stateless person in the Russian Federation”; 9 protocols under Art. 18.11 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Violation of immigration rules”; 1 protocol under Article 18.20 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Violation by a foreign citizen or stateless person of the deadline for applying for a patent.”
Judicial authorities imposed administrative punishments in the form of fines in the amount of 2,000 to 4,000 rubles for those who violated migration legislation.
Also at the market in one of the cafes, a hired worker was identified — a 21-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan, illegally staying in Russia and being wanted for evading the execution of a court decision on controlled independent departure from the country. A protocol under Part 3 of Art. 20.25 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Evasion of a foreign citizen or stateless person from execution of punishment in the form of administrative deportation from the Russian Federation in the form of controlled independent departure from the Russian Federation.” The offender is placed in a detention center for foreign citizens subject to deportation and expulsion. He was given a fine in the amount of 3 thousand rubles with subsequent export abroad,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea clarified.
Based on the results of the activities, the inquiry department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Saksky” opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Forgery of documents” in relation to a 55-year-old citizen of Tajikistan, who presented a dubious notification of the arrival of a foreign citizen. An investigation has been launched. A preventive measure in the form of a recognizance not to leave the place was chosen against the suspect. He faces a large fine or arrest for six months.
The police warn about the need for foreign citizens to comply with the current legislation of the Russian Federation.
