CrimeaPRESS reports:
Another meeting with residents of the former summer hotel «Zvezdochka», where more than 100 families currently live, that’s about 300 people. Recently updated apartment listing — asked everyone to check the data— following the visit, the head of the Yalta administration, Yanina Pavlenko, reported, and reminded that the people living there have been waiting for resettlement for more than 30 years, but the situation only moved from a dead point in 2021.
Thus, Yanina Pavlenko continued, three years ago two buildings of the former hotel were transferred to the status of an apartment building and were immediately declared unsafe, after which, under the program for resettlement from dilapidated and unsafe housing, people began to leave the walls of «Zvezdochka».
Six families have already left, and 12 are currently preparing to move. Those who are still staying were once again urged not to occupy the vacated rooms, and those who wished were offered the opportunity to move to temporary accommodation centers.— noted the head of the Yalta administration and added that work is underway in parallel on another program, which is supervised by the State Committee for Nationalities — the Ministry of Construction of Crimea is already designing a 120-apartment building on Kirov, construction should begin next year.
Summing up the meeting, Yanina Pavlenko emphasized that while people have not moved, the city leadership will try to make their stay there as easy as possible, in particular, the inter-yard passages will be put in order.
