This can only happen in Crimea: at the World Youth Festival they talked about “Tavrida.ART”

At the World Youth Festival, participants from 188 countries attended a virtual excursion to Crimea to the Tavrida art cluster and the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries.

The program director of WFM-2024, head of the Tavrida art cluster, Sergei Pershin, spoke about “Tavrida” and the opportunities that open up for creative youth at the site of the art cluster in Crimea:

Here, at Tavrida, 260 thousand young people who are passionate about art and culture have already visited: artists, designers, performers, musicians and other figures in the creative industries. Here the horizons of thinking and professional skills are expanded. In general, let’s be honest, this is a real city for young creators from all over Russia! As part of the “Only in Russia” show, guests and participants of the World Youth Festival took a virtual walk around the Tavrida festival site in Crimea, touched art objects, visited beaches and immersed themselves in the atmosphere of the Meganom Academy. Viewers of the show were able to feel like they were part of a large-scale cultural cluster in Russia. They were also the first to know about start of registration to the festival of young art «Tavrida.ART», which will be held in August in Crimea.

“Tavrida” (a project of Rosmolodezh) began its history in 2015, receiving the status of the All-Russian Youth Educational Forum. In 2019, Tavrida grew into an art cluster that united several projects. In 2023, the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries opened there, in Crimea, a year-round competence center with modern creative workshops, professional equipment and well-maintained infrastructure. Today “Tavrida” is a point of attraction for creative youth from all over the country, a place where young workers in culture, art and creative industries receive opportunities for professional realization and embodiment of their ideas.
