Since the beginning of the year, 20 incidents on the water have been registered in the Crimea, 11 people died. This was reported in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in the republic.

The department noted that most incidents on the water are recorded in places that are prohibited for bathing.

To prevent tragedies, inspectors of the State Inspectorate for Little Small Courts (GIMS) regularly go to water bodies and conduct preventive conversations with guests and residents of the region. In particular, at the Simferopol reservoir — a favorite vacation spot for local residents. Rescuers emphasize that the reservoir is a technological structure and bathing in it is not safe and prohibited.
