This year, 23 km of roads will be additionally repaired in Sevastopol — Fiolentovskoe and Monastyrskoe highways

According to the director of the Department of Transport Pavel Ieno, the specialists started repairing the Fiolentovsky and Monastyrskoye highways in June. It is planned to replace the top layer of the road surface at the facilities. In addition, 36 auto pavilions will be installed at the sites.

We need to look at the programs and synchronize such elementary things as repairing roads and laying communications. That is, now we are updating the roadway, but the project provides for all other communications that will be made after the completion of the repair, including storm sewers, since it is not in the current repair. We are doing repairs now, because it is really necessary, but the pavement part is not being done, as we assume communication corridors , — quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.

Director of the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Pavel Ieno explained that the road workers will start repairing the pedestrian network this year, but it is planned to complete the work next.

We worked this issue out with colleagues. Where they will lay communications, we will not lay a sidewalk, but in the future we will do it in two stages. The first stage — we will lay a sidewalk where it is possible to do this, we will make pedestrian crossings. And in the future, as colleagues will lay water supply and gas networks, we will complete the sidewalk network on both sides , — said Pavel Ieno.

Recall that Sevastopol was additionally allocated 450 million rubles from the reserve fund of the Government of the Russian Federation for road repairs. The funds will make it possible to replace the top layer of the road surface on the Fiolentovsky and Monastyrskoye highways and install new pavilions.
