More than 3.74 million tourists visited Crimea in January — July of this year. The head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov reported this in his Telegram channel.
In two summer months, about 2.2 million people rested in the republic, which is 12 % higher than last year. “The most popular place, as before, was the southern coast of Crimea, which adopted 48 % of the total tourist flow. 26 % of vacationers chose the western coast, 14 % — the east coast. The average level of loading objects in June — July was 67 %, which is 9 % higher than last year. The largest load was noted in the sens of the city of Saki — 77 %. Objects in Yevpatoria and Yalta on average were loaded by 74 % and 73 %, respectively— the message says.
It is noted that the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea conducts an annual survey to identify the level of satisfaction with rest, interest in excursions, determine the popularity of resort regions, and so on. In offline format, the questionnaire is carried out by employees of the tourist and information center at the railway station. The survey is also carried out by the administrations of municipalities and placement objects — hotels and sanatoriums.
