This year, 7 kilometers of roads leading to the tourist sites of Sevastopol have been repaired

In the 2022 year, two sections of streets with a total length of more than 7 km were repaired, leading to tourist sites, sights of Sevastopol.
One of them is the Orlovka-Polyushko road, which leads to the Nakhimovets beach in Elm Grove. This is one of the favorite vacation spots of Sevastopol residents. Now getting there has become more comfortable. The road workers performed milling of the old and laying two layers of new asphalt, elimination of subsidence, replacement of curbs and restoration of sidewalks, applied road markings.
Over the years of implementation, the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads» has made a huge contribution to the development of domestic tourism. It is important for us that residents and guests of Sevastopol can comfortably and safely get to their favorite places , — said Alexander Shiryaev, Deputy Director of the Directorate for the Development of Road Transport Infrastructure.
The repair of the Goncharnoye-Yalta highway, more than 5 km long, has also been completed. In this area there are many hiking trails leading to the spring and viewing platforms. There is also a route to the Foros Church — an Orthodox church of the Simferopol and Crimean diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church above the village of Foros.
According to the press service of the government of Sevastopol, five objects leading to popular tourist routes were repaired earlier in the city. So, in Balaklava, the asphalt was updated on the road that leads to the well-known route of the Great Sevastopol Trail, to the Cembalo fortress and Karernaya Street — along it you can get to the Kalamita fortress, to the St. Clement Monastery. In the Nakhimovsky district, work was carried out on the section of the road to the Mikhailovskaya battery, and Zagordyansky street leading to the Konstantinovskaya battery was overhauled. In the Gagarinsky district, Drevnyaya Street, adjacent to the territory of the historical and archaeological museum-reserve Tauric Chersonesus, has been brought to the normative state.
