This year, more than 15,000 applications for registration of real estate in Crimea were submitted from other regions of the Russian Federation

Since the beginning of 2024, residents of other regions of the Russian Federation, with the exception of new subjects, have submitted more than 15,000 applications for registration of real estate located in the territory of the Republic of Crimea via extraterritorial means.

Let us remind you that the extraterritorial method of filing applications allows citizens to register and register real estate located in any region of Russia without leaving their subject. That is, you can submit documents remotely and you will not need to incur additional time and financial expenses just to submit documents for registration of a house or land plot, as they say, at their location. Applications on an extraterritorial basis are accepted in multifunctional centers (MFCs) located in all regions of the country, as well as through personal account on the Rosreestr portal. So, on the territory of the Republic of Crimea, this service is provided in six multifunctional centers “My Documents”and in Sevastopol at 14 MFC addresses.

Over 9 months of this year, over 15 thousand people took advantage of the opportunity to remotely register real estate in the Republic of Crimea without visiting the peninsula itself. At the same time, the Crimean MFCs accepted over 3.6 thousand relevant applications for registration of real estate located outside the Republic of Crimeasaid Valentina Kirlitsa, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for State Registration and Cadastre of the Republic of Crimea.

Extraterritorial transactions are actively carried out in Sevastopol. Thus, based on the results of 3 quarters, over 1.9 thousand applications were submitted for registration of real estate located within the borders of a city of federal significance. At the same time, the MFC of Sevastopol accepted more than 4.3 thousand applications for registration of property on the mainland of the country and in Crimea.

It is worth noting that for the new entities — the DPR, LPR and Zaporozhye region — a special procedure is still in effect. It is currently possible to submit documents for registration of real estate located on the territory of these historical Russian regions only in certain MFCs located in MoscowRostov-on-Don and in the Rostov region. In other words, it is temporarily not possible to submit a package of documents from Crimea and Sevastopol in relation to objects located in four new territories,” said Olesya Kalinkina, head of the Rosreestr Office for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
