This year they plan to improve over seventy public areas in Crimea

In Crimea, this year work will continue to improve public places for citizens to relax. Improving the quality of the urban environment is carried out within the framework of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”. According to the Main Directorate for the Implementation of National Projects, the total amount of funds provided for the implementation of the regional project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” in 2024 is 565.2 million rubles.

In 2024, 6 public areas will be improved, and within the framework of the concluded agreement between the Moscow Government and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — 65 territories. In total, by the end of the year, according to the established indicator, 71 new recreation areas will be created in Crimea.

The creation of comfortable conditions will take place in the cities of Yalta (Milyutinsky Park, Pionersky Park and the territory on Sechenov Street), Bakhchisaray (square on Simferopolskaya Street), Evpatoria (Festivalnaya Square), Kerch (Kazenny Park), Simferopol (Central Park of Culture and Leisure — Catherine’s Garden), Alushta (square in the village of Solnechnogorskoye, territory in the village of Nizhnyaya Kutuzovka and the village of Privetnoye), Dzhankoy (square «Crimean Spring»), Armyansk (square «Malysh»), Krasnoperekopsk (2nd stage of the territory on Kalinin Street , including part of the Culture and Recreation Park), Sudak (territories in the Hill of Glory area)— listed in the Main Directorate.

In addition, district municipalities have been identified where large-scale repairs and other types of work will take place aimed at implementing the regional project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment”, namely in the areas:

Bakhchisarai (recreation park in the area of the “Grieving Mother” monument in the village of Tabachnoe and the territory of the embankment and adjacent pedestrian areas in the village of Peschanoe),
Belogorsk (territory in the village of Vasilievka (stage 2) and in the city of Belogorsk),
Dzhankoysky (park in the village of Azovskoye),
Kirovsky (Solnechny Park in the village of Pervomaiskoye, Pokrovsky park in the village of Novopokrovka and Druzhba park in the village of Partizany),
Krasnogvardeisky (park area in the village of Petrovka, Community Center quarter (stage 3),
Nizhnegorsk (park in the villages of Akimovka and Zelenoe),
Pervomaisky (recreation park “Family” in the village of Alekseevka),
Saksky (Pobela Square in the village of Frunze and Gagarin Square in the village of Ivanovka),
Simferopol (territories near the Tobe-Chokrak stream in the village of Rodnikovo, a square in the village of Perovo on Shkolnaya Street and an area in the village of Shirokoe in the area of the monument named after V.I. Lenin),
Razdolnensky (a square in memory of the soldiers of the Evpatoria landing and fellow villagers who died during the Second World War in the village of Chernyshevo (sections 2, 3), the Afghans’ square in the village of Razdolnoye and the park area in the central part in the village of Razdolnoye (stage 2),
Chernomorskoye (pedestrian communication in the village of Chernomorskoye on Revolyutsii Street, the territory adjacent to the MBOU «Chernomorskaya Secondary School No. 2» in the village of Chernomorskoye, as well as in the villages of Medvedevo and the villages of Novoselskoye).

The key goal of the regional project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” is to improve the quality of the urban environment and increase the number of citizens involved in solving issues of landscaping.

Its main task is to transform the architectural appearance of cities and make them more comfortable for life in the region.

This year on the platform za.gorodsreda.ru and on the Gosuslugi website there will be an online voting for the selection of improvement projects for 2025, in which every Russian citizen over the age of 14 will be able to vote for the public space that, in their opinion, is most in need of updating.
