Thousands of books for children's libraries in Kherson and Zaporozhye regions were collected in the Crimean «Artek»

Pupils of Artek from 89 regions of the country and 17 countries have collected thousands of books for children’s libraries in Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, which will be donated as part of the project “People’s Front. Everything for the victory! The book collection campaign is supported by the “Movement of the First”, and on the eve of the new academic year, the Crimean branch of the Popular Front will deliver all the books to the new territories.
Now children from all over the country have a rest in Artek. Each of them has their own favorite book. And each of the pupils himself decided to give a piece of his soul for children from new regions in order to help libraries replenish their stocks of interesting and exciting literature. They brought their favorite books to the children’s camp with them from home. During the shift, we collected completely different books for children from new regions of our large country. In addition, we handed over letters to the soldiers to the Popular Front, in which we wished them a speedy return and good health. And we wished the children more smiles and happy days— shared Uliana Maksimova, Volzhsky, Volgograd region.
The authorities of the new regions asked the Crimean Popular Front to help with books for children, during the shelling and attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, many funds were destroyed. By the beginning of the school year, they will be brought to the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions to please and teach the children new things.
Each of the guys brought books at the call of his heart and put a piece of his soul into it. We are one big family, each member of which wants to help each other. We will bring books to children’s libraries and be sure to tell you how important they were to you— said the head of the regional executive committee of the Popular Front in Crimea, Alla Vertinskaya.
