Thousands of liters of water – Crimeans provided “drinking” aid to wounded soldiers and frontline hospitals

Over the past couple of weeks, Crimeans have donated about ten thousand liters of water to soldiers and frontline hospitals in the Kherson direction of the SVO as part of the project «People’s Front. Everything for Victory!» The guys at the front urgently needed drinking water due to the difficult combat situation in one of the sections of the front and increased consumption during the period of abnormal heat.

Our wounded soldiers really need water. The situation with the supply of pure drinking water in our area is very difficult due to the enemy’s activity. We simply do not have enough of it, and the enemy is doing everything to make it impossible to deliver it safely. Many thanks to the residents of Crimea for this support, this is the life of our guys in military hospitals— shared a fighter with the call sign “Vostok”.

In total, 5 requests for urgent assistance with drinking water at the front have been received from Crimean units and military doctors. Business representatives helped to purchase the required amount of water.

Unlike requests for technical assistance: sights, drones, electronic warfare equipment, which are always needed, requests for water are most often temporary and at the same time urgent. That is, soldiers call and ask for help with water, they needed it «yesterday». Many thanks to the partners of the project «People’s Front. Everything for Victory!» from Crimea and the whole country, who literally in one day help collect entire trucks of water, which our guys especially need,» said the head of the regional executive committee of the People’s Front in Crimea Alla Vertinskaya.
