Three million passengers were transported by trains to Crimea and back this summer

More than three million passengers were transported to Crimea and back during the holiday season by the Tavria and Grand Express trains. This is 15% more than in May-September 2023.
20 pairs of Tavria trains and 3 more trailed groups of cars ran to and from the Crimean Peninsula. These are 8 trains from Moscow, 2 trains from St. Petersburg, 10 trains from other regions. Two new directions have appeared in the company’s route network: Nizhny Novgorod — Simferopol and Tolyatti — Simferopol— reported at the Grand Service Express company.
The most popular departure points towards the peninsula were Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar and Adler — the most passengers left for Crimea from these cities. The frequency of some trains has been increased. For example, 7 trains from Moscow, 2 from St. Petersburg and one from Adler departed to Crimea daily.
Please note that due to high demand, Grand Service Express is scheduling an additional train from Moscow to Simferopol for the New Year holidays.
Train No. 165/166 on the route Moscow (Paveletsky Station) — Simferopol will depart from Moscow on December 23, 24, 28, 29, 2024, January 2, 3, 7, 8, 12, 2025 at 17:45 and arrive in Simferopol every other day at 11:40. The train will leave Simferopol on December 21, 22, 26, 27, 31, 2024, January 1, 5, 6, 10, 2025 at 12:30 and arrive in Moscow every other day at 5:35. The train will pass through Lipetsk, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Taman. The train consists of reserved seat and compartment single-deck carriages— told in the company.
Taking into account the additional train No. 165/166 from Moscow to Simferopol, 6 trains per day will run on New Year’s days. Ticket sales are already open.
