Three million two hundred eighty thousand tourists visited Crimea this year

Over the first 7 months of 2024, the tourist flow to the Republic of Crimea amounted to 3 million 280 thousand tourists, which is 19% higher than the level of the same period in 2023. This was reported by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov. According to him, in July alone, over 1.2 million people vacationed in Crimea, which is a third more than last year.
Sergey Aksyonov specified that 62.1% of guests arrived via the Crimean Bridge by bus and car, another 27.3% by rail, and 10.6% via historical regions. Meanwhile, the average occupancy rate of accommodation facilities is 65%. Large resort complexes with developed tourist infrastructure are occupied up to 100%. Along with this, experts note that Crimea has become a leader in terms of growth in sales of summer tours.
Some tour operators have seen growth of 50% compared to 2023. The length of the holiday is also increasing, with an average of 10 days– added the Head of Crimea.
Sergey Aksyonov thanked the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea for coordinating the work, and the enterprises of the Crimean tourism industry for their professional and coordinated actions in difficult conditions, competent pricing and ensuring a comfortable and safe holiday.
