Three out of 10 Crimeans who decided to quit are ready to stay if they compromise with their employer
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Every fourth Crimean citizen encountered obstacles to dismissal from his employer. Representatives of the economically active population with work experience took part in the survey of the service for finding high-paying jobs SuperJob.
23% of Crimeans had to deal with a situation where the employer refused to sign a letter of resignation. Due to their extensive professional experience, stories about such situations were most often shared by respondents over 45 years of age (30%). More than half of such cases (60%) ended with the employer having to retreat: “Without the application being signed by the manager. After 2 weeks of working from the date of the registered application, I received my employment certificate from the HR department without any problems.” In 4%, the employee withdrew the application and continued to work under the old conditions. 3 out of 10 respondents came to a compromise with their superiors and remained working in the company for their own benefit,” noted the service’s press service.
What do those whom the employer refuses to fire achieve? Every second compromise decision concerns a salary increase. Sometimes valuable employees are able to negotiate a flexible work schedule, extra days off, remote work, or hybrid work.
But it also happens that the employees themselves have to agree to additional conditions in order to be released: most often it is about finding and training successors; working longer than required by law (for most professions this is 2 weeks); continuation of work on a part-time basis.
