Three residents of Sevastopol convicted of organizing and committing the brutal murder of a friend

The evidence collected by the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol was recognized by the court as sufficient to pronounce a guilty verdict against three young people — residents of Sevastopol. Depending on the deed, they were found guilty of robbery by a group of persons by prior conspiracy with illegal entry into a dwelling; organizing and committing a murder by a group of persons in order to hide another crime.
A loader from Sevastopol received information that his colleague had accumulated more than 100 thousand rubles, which the attacker decided to steal, for which he developed and attracted two friends. On March 29, 2022, they invited the victim to a feast, after drinking they tied the man, demanding to give the money. He said that the amount of 180 thousand rubles is kept at home in an apartment on Moskovskaya Street, from where the organizer stole them, dividing the money between accomplices.
Then he instructed his accomplices to kill the prisoner, after which the latter was strangled. First, the accomplices hid the body in a transformer box, and then took it to the territory of an abandoned building in the Nakhimovsky district, where passers-by found the deceased.— told the details of the case in the Sledkom.
As a result of the DNA examination, the identity of the murdered person was established, and in cooperation with the operational officers of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol, the persons who committed a particularly serious crime were detained.
At the request of the investigator, all the defendants in the criminal case were taken into custody. The investigating authorities have collected irrefutable evidence of their involvement in the brutal murder.
The result is punishment.
Taking into account the opinion of the public prosecutor of the prosecutor’s office of the city of Sevastopol, today, by the verdict of the Sevastopol city court, the defendants were found guilty of the alleged crimes and sentenced to various terms of 17, 15 and 12 years in prison in a strict regime correctional colony. Two of them, after serving their main sentence, were also sentenced to imprisonment for a year. The verdict of the court did not enter into force.
