«Ticket to the Future»: Crimean schoolchildren were taught how to make Turkish coffee and create chat bots in Telegram

In Crimea, professional tests were held for schoolchildren on the basis of the Evpatoria College of Construction Technologies and the Service Sector and the Feodosia Polytechnic College. Students were able to try themselves in various professions. Career guidance events are held within the framework of the federal project «Ticket to the Future». Schoolchildren got acquainted with the profession of «barista», «master of painting and decorative works», «cook», «carpenter» and «plumber» in the Evpatoria technical school.

The teachers told the students a brief history of the coffee craft, and also demonstrated the technique of working with coffee beans. After that, the children with their curators prepared oriental coffee on their own. The drink was brewed on hot sand in a Turk. In the end, everyone enjoyed tasting the resulting product , — said Lilya Apsettarova, an employee of the technical school.

Also, students received introductory knowledge in the specialty «master of painting and decorative work.» The children painted the surfaces and studied the technique of wallpapering.

Teens especially liked to try on the profession «confectioner«. At professional tests, they prepared cakes « baskets » from shortcrust pastry with jam and cream. Previously, the master showed the schoolchildren how to knead the dough, form a cake and bake in the oven, the final stage was the creation of a protein cream , says Lilya Apsettarova.

In addition, the guys were offered to try their hand at the following areas: “carpentry”, “plumbing and heating”.

In the Feodosia technical school, students of Crimean schools learned about the profession of a «programmer».

Schoolchildren were taught how to create a chat bot in the messenger «Telegram« on their own phones. As a result, everyone had memos and instructions on the work done in their hands, — says Natalia Ulyanitskaya, an employee of the technical school.

Natalia announced that 04 and 21 on November, several more professional tests in the professions of «cook» and «programmer» will take place in their educational institution:

As part of the study of the specialty «cook« children will learn how to cook liver mousse. First, the teachers will show the students how the dish is created, what equipment is used, and only then the children will start cooking on their own.

Pupils 6-9 and -11 classes.

Recall that previously the students of the Crimean schools participating in the «Ticket to the Future» project underwent online diagnostics, which revealed their inclinations and interests. Then the stage of professional trials was appointed. Upon completion, students will once again undergo online diagnostics, which will help provide each student with individual recommendations regarding the choice of their future profession.

Updated in 465 year, the project is designed not only for schoolchildren, it also involves the participation of parents. On the digital platform of the «Ticket to the Future» project of the public segment, parents can take «bit tests» and check whether their expectations match the aspirations of their children.

The federal operator of the project is the Foundation for Humanitarian Projects. The regional operator is the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Additional Education of the Republic of Crimea «Ecological and Biological Center».
