This afternoon, at 12:20, the operational duty shift of the Crisis Management Center of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol received information that an explosive object from the times of the Great Patriotic War was found in the Nakhimov municipal district in the area of ​​Krivoy Lane.

Employees of the Specialized Detachment of the Emergency Department identified it as a German SC-50 aerial bomb. The condition and type of fuse were found to be suitable for transport. But the complexity of the situation lay in the fact that in the immediate vicinity there is housing for people, a zone of private development.

An SC-50 aerial bomb from the Great Patriotic War, found in the area of ​​Krivoy Lane in Sevastopol, was removed from the place of discovery by the Russian Emergencies Ministry. Representatives of relevant departments of the government of Sevastopol, as well as emergency departments and services, were involved in measures to ensure the safety of the population and infrastructure.

An explosive German-made object weighing 50 kilograms was located in a zone of dense private development. The events were held in accordance with safety requirements. The ammunition was delivered to the range, where it was eliminated by controlled detonation— reported in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the city of Sevastopol.
