To live 100 years: a veteran of the Great Patriotic War was congratulated on his anniversary in Yalta

The centenary anniversary was celebrated by veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Honorary Citizen of Yalta Anatoly Mikhailovich Sotnikov. Celebrations in honor of the hero of the day were held at the Yalta-Intourist Hotel, where he worked as a translator for many years.
Veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Guard Colonel, Honorary Citizen of the city of Yalta Anatoly Mikhailovich Sotnikov went to the front at the age of less than 18, commanded a fire platoon of 45-mm guns, crossed the Dnieper, participated in the liberation of Kyiv and many European cities. For his exploits he was awarded four commendations from the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, awarded the Order of the Red Star and the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st and 2nd degree, the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky, medals “For Courage”, “For Victory over Germany 1941-1945”. 10 years ago I was an observer at the All-Crimean referendum, and today I help participants of the SVO, support their relatives and friends— noted in the Information Policy Department of the Yalta City Administration.
