On October 29, a resident of the city of Alupka, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War and labor, Sidorova Valentina Nikolaevna, celebrated her 100th full anniversary.

On this significant day, the following people came to personally congratulate the birthday girl at home and thank her for a decent life: the head of the Alupka territorial body of the Yalta City Administration Olga Litvinova, the deputy of the Yalta City Council from the United Russia party Angelina Mursakaeva, the head of the Alupka department of social services at home of the Center for Social Services for Citizens elderly and disabled people of the city of Yalta Olga Yaroslavskaya, chairman of the public organization of Veterans and disabled people of war, labor and law enforcement agencies of the city of Alupka Nikolay Osipov, head of the branch of the Alupka City House of Culture of the Yalta Centralized Club System Natalya Korostyleva.

With best wishes, the guests presented the birthday girl with flowers and personal congratulations from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. The head of the Yalta City Administration, Yanina Pavlenko, also conveyed kind words of congratulations and heartfelt wishes to the hero of the day.

Sidorova Valentina Nikolaevna was born on October 29, 1923 in the village of Korcha, Kherson region. Her mother and father come from Novgorod, who moved to live in Kherson. The parents died early and the children were left orphans.

As a very young girl, Valentina Nikolaevna took a tractor driving course — six months of training, and she got to work — plowing fields. At the age of 17, Valentina Nikolaevna was deported to Germany. And only in June 1945, after liberation, she returned to Kherson. In 1948, Valentina Nikolaevna moved to her sister in Alupka, where she lives to this day. Here she met her future guard husband, Sergeant Sidorov Ivan Panteleevich. Soon they had three children.

Throughout her working life, Valentina Nikolaevna worked as a nurse in sanatoriums in Alupka and Yalta.

Despite her years, Valentina Nikolaevna does not lose heart. He tries to do his homework independently to the best of his ability, looks at life with optimism, and enjoys every day he lives.

The guests sincerely wished Valentina Nikolaevna an active longevity, a happy and joyful life and thanked her for a life rich in events and good deeds for the benefit of future generations. A creative gift for the hero of the day were wonderful songs to the accordion performed by the vocal group “Melody” of the branch of the Alupka City House of Culture of the Yalta Centralized Club System. The birthday girl happily accepted flowers, gifts and heartfelt congratulations, and listened to the songs with pleasure. Dear Valentina Nikolaevna!
