To obtain the status of a FEZ participant, it is enough for organizations to have a branch or representative office in Crimea

The fact that in order to obtain the status of a participant in a free economic zone (FEZ) in Crimea, it is enough for organizations to have a branch or representative office on the peninsula, said Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko.

On March 8, amendments to Federal Law No. 377 came into force. Now, those wishing to obtain the status of residents, it is enough to open a local branch. These changes will definitely help attract investment in the region’s economy, new industries and jobs will be created , — the press service quotes Irina Kiviko.

The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the amendments to the law are designed to protect businesses from the consequences of changes caused by recent political events and the subsequent reaction of the West.

Today, the SEZ participants are implementing more than 1370 investment projects on the territory of the Republic of Crimea. More than ,6 thousand jobs were created. The volume of investments actually made amounted to 182 billion rubles , — emphasizes Irina Kiviko.
