The program of preferential mortgage for the unborn child, which was proposed by the developers last week, will not be implemented. As reported «Izvestia» The press service of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, the initiative to launch it is not discussed by the authorities.

Investment expert, the head of the Family Capital federal program, Evgeny Tkachev, emphasized that from the point of view of support, the initiative was aimed only at developers, and for buyers of real estate, in addition to obligations, it also carries risks.

The initiative does not look like a measure to stimulate the birth rate, or as a measure of support for young families. A joint life and birth of a child are complex and individual processes in many ways. Anything can happen in life — plans or situations may change that will force the family to make certain decisions— the speaker explained.

In his opinion, the Ministry of Finance does not support this initiative, since it actually additionally stimulates the real estate market in the person of developers and indirectly increases the number of borrowers in family mortgages with a potential creation of additional risks.
