Tomorrow September 1st. A record number (over six thousand) of first-graders will go to Sevastopol schools
CrimeaPRESS reports:
This year, a record number of first-graders — 6 220 will go to the schools of Sevastopol. About this during the live broadcast in the group of the city government in Larisa Sulima, Acting Director of the Department of Education and Science, told VKontakte.
Tomorrow there will be a festive event in the Hero City of Sevastopol. Solemn lines will be held with the participation of children in grades 1, 9 and 11 — that is, no more than 30% of students, as we retain the «yellow» level. This year we have 6 220 first-graders, 214 first-graders — this is a record number in the entire history of Sevastopol. Also 11 graduating classes are a little more than 2 eleventh graders , — noted the head of the department.
Rulers in the schools of Sevastopol will begin with the raising of the national flag and the performance of the anthems of Russia and the Hero City. They returned to this tradition in Sevastopol on March 1, when the big marathon «Russian Spring» started in educational institutions.
The renewal of such a tradition is the idea of Governor Mikhail Vladimirovich. We love our country, our state symbols, we must know the history of state symbols. Now in all our schools we are creating a single educational space, uniform education programs have been adopted so that the younger generation respects elders and traditions, loves their homeland, lives in peace and harmony in a multinational country. That is what the education program is for. Therefore, on Mondays, extracurricular activities “Conversations about the important” appear in our curriculum, where the guys will touch on the topics of morality, patriotism and ecology , — Larisa Sulima emphasized.
She paid special attention to security issues in educational institutions. According to her, on September 1, employees of the internal affairs bodies and traffic safety bodies will be in educational institutions. In addition, a large training seminar on safety was held for the deputy directors of schools, and the chairmen of the school-wide parent committees were also invited to it. In social networks, parents raised questions about drones, distance learning. Therefore, representatives of the anti-terrorist commission, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Russian Guard, the traffic police department for the city of Sevastopol, the Center for the Prevention of Extremism and Terrorism, and the Center for Civil Defense spoke at the seminar. Special memos have been sent to all educational organizations.
Now we are in the «yellow» level of terrorist danger, therefore, of course, we will comply with all the measures that the anti-terrorist commission recommends to us. We have adopted an order that regulates enhanced security measures and access control. I am grateful to the people of Sevastopol for being very active. We work with all parent communities and organizations, and they will gather at the Institute for the Development of Education to discuss topical issues. We will solve all problems together , — Larisa Sulima concluded.
Recall that the traditional All-Russian Parents’ Meeting chaired by the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation also took place today. The participants of the meeting discussed the implementation of the school overhaul program, parental control over repairs and construction, a unified educational program and other topics. Mikhail Razvozhaev, Governor of Sevastopol, Chairman of the State Council Commission on Education, took part in the meeting.
