The documentary film that Sevastopol residents will see today is the largest and most honest film about the battle for Mariupol, skillfully filmed by the Russia Today media holding. The tape is presented by the RT television company. To date, this is the most detailed documentary film about the ongoing special military operation in Ukraine. Filming lasted two months and covered all the key events of the battle for the main industrial city of Donbass. The film crew worked on the front line together with the military, took part in the battles for the city as newsreels.
In addition, the film does not contain the author’s text or the leader in the frame — it is entirely based on interviews with residents of Mariupol and fighters of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the People’s Militia of the DPR.
Spoiler: In the documentary, Russian troops enter Mariupol, an industrial giant on the shores of the Sea of Azov. There are fierce battles, during which it turns out that the locals have become a human shield between the two armies.
