Tourists are stuck on a steep slope near Cape Aya. Rescued climbers until late
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On October 22, at 17:20, the operator on duty at the Sevastopol Rescue Service received a message about two tourists who were stuck on a slope in the area of Cape Aya and could not descend on their own.
The duty shifts of the search and rescue units «Yug» and «Balaklava» went to the scene of the incident. Rescuers evacuated the victims from a hard-to-reach place using climbing equipment. The work was completed at 00:42— reported the emergency department.
The rescue operation involved 6 people, as well as one piece of equipment and one watercraft.
