Tourists, descending from the Ayu-Dag mountain, lost their way and got into a difficult situation

On the evening of August 26 (at 18:15), the control panel of the emergency department on duty received information that a family of three, while descending from the Ayu-Dag mountain, had come to an impenetrable rocky area. Tourists cannot continue to move on their own. The help of rescuers in their search and evacuation is required.

The duty shift of the Alushta emergency rescue team «Crimea-SPAS» left for the scene. It should be noted that the tourists «threw» the rescuers a photo of the area of ​​​​their location, this facilitated the search.

Upon arrival, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations set out on foot in search of tourists. In a short time, visual contact was established with them. Rescuers went up to the location of the family and, in compliance with all security measures, evacuated them from the difficult rocky area to the highway. They didn’t need medical attention.— said the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
