Tourists get lost in the mountains of the South Coast. Evening operation of the «CRIMEA-SPAS» detachment

Yesterday evening, at 20:05, the emergency department’s operational control panel received information that two men, while taking a tourist walk in the mountains of the South Coast, had lost their way and were unable to get out of a difficult rocky area. It was previously known that the tourists got lost on Mount Stavri-Kaya. The duty shift of the Yalta emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» headed to the search and rescue area.
Upon arrival, rescuers contacted the victims by mobile phone and clarified their approximate location. As a result of search work, the Ministry of Emergency Situations found tourists on a steep rocky section of the upper reaches of the Uchan-Su waterfall. They did not need medical attention. In compliance with all safety measures, rescuers evacuated them from the mountainous forest area to a safe place.— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
